📝 Instructions
- 1 preheat oven to 375
- 2 grease 9 inch springform pan
- 3 sift together flour , baking powder and salt , set aside
- 4 in a large bowl cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- 5 beat in egg
- 6 beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk , mixing just until incorporated
- 7 stir in blueberries
- 8 pour batter into prepared pan
- 9 in a small bowl , combine topping ingredients cut in butter until crumbly -- then add nuts
- 10 sprinkle over batter
- 11 bake for 45 minutes until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
- 12 allow to cool
- 13 i like to remove cake to cake plate and dust with powdered sugar

- 15 i feel awfully silly , but i have figured out why the times vary -- when using frozen blueberries -- the time is closer to an hour
- 16 fresh berries -- 45 minutes
- 17 thank you for everyone's suggestion of using vanilla
