🥘 Ingredients

  • pork chops
  • onion
  • bacon
  • butter
  • cornstarch
  • water
  • salt & pepper

📝 Instructions

  1. 1 in 12" skillet , cook bacon on med hi heat
  2. 2 remove bacon from skillet , but leave bacon drippings
  3. 3 add 1 tbsp butter and diced onion
  4. 4 when transparent , remove from skillet
  5. 5 reduce heat to medium , lightly salt and pepper both sides of pork chops and place in skillet
  6. 6 brown both sides
  7. 7 chop up bacon , and add both bacon and cooked onion to skillet
  8. 8 add 3 / 4 cup water , 1 tbsp butter , cover and simmer until cooked
  9. 9 just before serving , mix 2 tbsp cornstarch with cool tap water
  10. 10 place pork chops on plates , add corn starch / water mixture to gravy / drippings in skillet and bring to quick boil stirring frequently to form thick gravy
