📝 Instructions

  1. 1 place turkey or turkey breast in a roasting pan
  2. 2 combine melted butter and chicken broth
  3. 3 pour over turkey
  4. 4 rub mayonnaise all over turkey's exterior
  5. 5 salt and pepper lightly if desired
  6. 6 roast at 300-325f until internal temperature reaches 170f on an instant read thermometer
  7. 7 remove from oven and let sit for about 30 minutes before slicing
  8. 8 to make gravy: pour pan drippings into a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat
  9. 9 add 1 tbls
  10. 10 cornstarch per cup of broth / drippings to 1 / 4 cup cold water
  11. 11 mix well to dissolve
  12. 12 stir cornstarch mixture into broth and stir until thickened
  13. 13 add salt and pepper to taste
  14. 14 if too thin , dissolve more cornstarch in water and add until desired thickness
  15. 15 if too thick , add water or more broth to thin
