📝 Instructions
- 1 preheat oven to 400
- 2 in a bowl , combine onions , bread crumbs and parmesan cheese
- 3 add beef and mix well
- 4 shape into 1-inch balls
- 5 place on a rack
- 6 in a shallow baking pan , bake for 15-20 minutes or until no longer pink
- 7 reduce oven temperature to 350
- 8 meanwhile , arrange bread in a single layer in an ungreased 13x9x2" baking dish
- 9 combine cream cheese , mayo , italian seasoning and pepper
- 10 spread over the bread
- 11 sprinkle with 1 / 2 cup mozzarella
- 12 combine sauce , water and garlic
- 13 add meatballs
- 14 pour over cheese mixture
- 15 sprinkle with remaining mozzarella
- 16 bake , uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes or until heated through
