  • liquid smoke
  • fresh coarse ground black pepper
  • kosher salt
  • fresh garlic cloves

📝 Instructions

  1. 1 trim beef of any large extra fat
  2. 2 a little is good for flavor
  3. 3 place the roast in the middle of a large piece of aluminum foil
  4. 4 rub beef all over with all of the spices
  5. 5 sprinkle liquid smoke over beef and rap tightly in foil
  6. 6 make sure it's completely wrapped
  7. 7 do not add any liquid to the crockpot !
  8. 8 place in crock pot and cook on low setting for 8-10 hrs
  9. 9 unwrap beef and serve with the "smoker" juices in the crock pot or with your favorite barbecue sauce
