  • • cocoa
  • • baking powder
  • • baking soda
  • • salt
  • • eggs
  • • milk
  • • vegetable oil

  • • boiling water
  • • butter

  1. 1 cake directions: heat oven to 350 degrees f
  2. 2 combine dry ingredients in large bowl
  3. 3 add eggs , milk , oil and vanilla
  4. 4 beat on medium speed 2 minutes
  5. 5 stir in boiling water
  6. 6 pour into 2 greased and floured 9" round pans
  7. 7 bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
  8. 8 cool 10 minutes , then remove to wire racks and cool completely
  9. 9 frost with "perfectly chocolate" chocolate frosting
  10. 10 this also makes about 30 cupcakes
  11. 11 frosting directions: melt butter
  12. 12 stir in cocoa
  13. 13 alternately add powdered sugar and milk , beating on medium speed to spreading consistency
