🥘 Ingredients

  • chicken leg quarters
  • soy sauce
  • garlic powder
  • seasoning salt
  • dill weed

📝 Instructions

  1. 1 preheat oven to 375
  2. 2 line a large glass baking dish with foil
  3. 3 you can also add a baking rack to the pan to keep the chicken out of the grease and to help air circulate and make it crispier
  4. 4 remove excess fat from chicken quarters
  5. 5 separate the skin from the chicken , taking care that the skin stays attached at most points on the chicken
  6. 6 brush the chicken with soy sauce
  7. 7 sprinkle some garlic powder , seasoned salt and dill weed on the chicken under the skin and rub into the chicken
  8. 8 arrange the leg quarters in the pan , skin side up , taking care not to crowd
  9. 9 they need space to cook properly
  10. 10 brush both sides of the leg quarters with soy sauce
  11. 11 sprinkle the skin with garlic powder , seasoned salt and dill weed
  12. 12 place on middle rack in over and bake uncovered for an hour
  13. 13 after an hour , increase oven temp to 400 and bake 15 minutes
  14. 14 chicken is done when internal temp reaches 165
  15. 15 let stand for 5 minutes before serving
