  • fettuccine pasta
  • butter
  • boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • salt and pepper
  • flour
  • onion
  • garlic
  • light cream
  • parmesan cheese
  • parsley
  • red pepper flakes

📝 Instructions

  1. 1 cook fettuccine according to package
  2. 2 drain
  3. 3 while fettuccine is cooking , prepare chicken
  4. 4 heat 12-inch skillet
  5. 5 add 2 tbsp butter
  6. 6 flatten chicken slightly
  7. 7 salt and pepper chicken
  8. 8 roll in flour , add to skillet
  9. 9 cook and brown until juices run clear , about 10 minutes
  10. 10 remove from skillet
  11. 11 add to skillet 2 tbs butter , onions , and garlic
  12. 12 cook 1 minute
  13. 13 add cream , cook for 3 minutes until reduced a bit
  14. 14 add cheese , parsley , and red pepper flakes
  15. 15 stir well
  16. 16 add last 1 tbsp butter and stir well
  17. 17 bring back chicken and coat with sauce
  18. 18 place chicken on plates , put fettuccine in sauce and swirl around to coat well
  19. 19 add to plate with chicken
