  3. 3 mix together flour , baking powder , salt , and milk in ungreased 8 inch square pan
  4. 4 stir in butter until blended
  5. 5 spread evenly in pan
  6. 6 spoon blackberries over batter
  7. 7 bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until dough rises and is golden
  8. 8 serve warm
