  2. 2 add egg and vanilla
  3. 3 beat until thoroughly combined
  4. 4 blend in the bananas
  5. 5 combine the flour , baking powder , baking soda and salt
  6. 6 add to creamed mixture and mix well
  7. 7 divide batter in half
  8. 8 add cocoa to half
  9. 9 spread into a greased 13-in x 9-in pan
  10. 10 spoon remaining batter on top and swirl with a knife
  11. 11 bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until the bars test done
  12. 12 cool
