  • onion
  • garlic clove
  • celery
  • chicken broth
  • broccoli
  • flour
  • milk
  • pepper
  • velveeta cheese

📝 Instructions

  1. 1 melt 2 tablespoons butter in medium sized stock pot , and saut onion , garlic and celery until tender
  2. 2 add broccoli and broth
  3. 3 cover and simmer for 10 minutes
  4. 4 pure soup or mash with potato masher
  5. 5 return to heat
  6. 6 in small saucepan , over medium heat melt 3 tablespoons butter , stir in flour and add milk
  7. 7 stir until thick and bubbly , add to soup
  8. 8 add cheese
  9. 9 stir until melted
  10. 10 season with pepper and serve
