  • long grain brown rice
  • water
  • unsalted butter
  • salt

📝 Instructions

  1. 1 preheat oven to 375f
  2. 2 boil the water and add the butter and salt
  3. 3 stir to dissolve salt and melt butter
  4. 4 place the rice in an 8" casserole dish
  5. 5 pour the boiling water mixture over the rice and stir
  6. 6 cover with foil and bake on the middle rack for 1 hour
  7. 7 fluff with fork and serve
  8. 8 this rice also refrigerates and reheats fairly well , but it's best freshly made
